Barnstable County Fair – July 21 – July 28
There are animal shows, 4-H demonstrations, petting zoos, horticulture displays, rides, games, live music, arts & crafts, food and commercial vendors with various arts and crafts for sale.
The Fair features the best in wholesome family fun and entertainment. More than 85,000 people attend with an anticipated 90,000 this year. The Barnstable County Fair is a great place to get up close and personal with the farm animals, enjoy a world of fun foods and the thrill of Rockwell Amusements Midway rides.
Rte. 151 is about 20 minutes from our Falmouth Resorts…and a real experience for the whole family!!!

Barnstable Village's Ghost Hunter Tour
** BRING A FLASHLIGHT AND BE PREPARED TO BE SCARED**
Bring your camera, Flashlight and digital/analog voice recorder and join us on this one of a kind tour. You will go on a walking tour of Barnstable Village with professional Ghost Hunters. You will stop and hear the haunting tales that plague the town. You will then have the opportunity to investigate an actively haunted cemetery. The evening includes a three-hour walking tour (or longer) of the village's haunted locations and participants will visit places such as Crocker Tavern, Barnstable Court House You will learn how to do EVP's (Electronic Voice Phenomenon) also know as "recording voices of the dead" inside the cemetery. You will also get to use some sensory equipment to "detect" paranormal activity. One stop on the tour has had some local's spooked...it is called "The House of 11 Ghosts" or the town knows it as "The Barnstable House". When night falls you will be inside Cobb's Hill Cemetery walking through the headstones looking for ghosts. The last stop on the tour is the "Old Jail". There you will be brought inside and told the haunting tales of the building while in the dark.The tours have gotten exciting throughout the years with the paranormal events that have been seen and recorded and just think, it may happen to you.

Centerville Parade
Centerville - Parade starting at 10:00 a.m. Presented by the Bay Lane PTA at Centerville Elementary School and Centerville Civic Association. The parade will form on the grounds of Centerville Elementary School and proceed up Bay Lane, take a right onto Bumps River Road; left onto Park Avenue; right onto Main Street; and continue to the Centerville Recreation Building where it will end.
